Puzzles to Remember
Residents at Barathaven in Missouri are obviously enjoying the Springbok PuzzlesToRemember, puzzles made specifically to meet the needs of Alzheimer's patients.
These puzzles can be done individually or as a group project, promoting social interaction.
They are all 36 extra large sized pieces, with bright colors and memory-provoking themes. Here is a review from an Alzheimer's caregiver:
"found this @ our local Hallmark store - I care for a 92 yr old woman w/ Alzheimers - delighted that someone thought of this - when it's early in the day she's better at it and is thrilled when we get it together - even the sense of accomplishment she gets from fitting in pieces (w/ help) is rewarding - thanks for providing a distraction in a difficult situation"
